“Our roots have the face of nature and around design, we reinvent it.” After an invitation, I've now become an ambassador for Off Label: an amazing company developing 3D fabrics for furniture. As the true fashionista I am, I'm thrilled! It's like a dream to develop a 3D fabric for my projects. Drawing inspiration from the ASAYA Rosewood SP spa, we combined the fractal forms of Brazilian nature—the core of this 3D fabric collection—with the color palette reflecting the diverse skin tones of Brazilians on the stunning high-fashion KIMONO armchairs from Mula Preta. Before merely admiring the fabrics, it's important to point out that fractals were originally based on mathematical formulas, noted for their ability to repeat indefinitely at any scale. In other words, if we zoom in on the image, we see the same thing, even as we step back and observe it from afar. The DNA of human beings is distinguished by skin color with a holistic approach to being, which treats the individual as a whole. We can also inspire others who, in turn, will take the same action we have and pass the idea forward. In this way, whenever we create a change—be it a creation—even if it seems like we aren't doing much, we are potentially initiating an infinite chain of changes.
